FAQ's

Q: Can I park my RV, boat or trailer?

A: Yes, you can park any size vehicle in an outdoor space so long as it has a registration and insurance. The vehicle you park must belong to you, and must be roadworthy.


Q: Can I ride my ATV around the B-EB village?

A: No. There is poor visibility at the corners of the buildings. No recreational vehicles may be ridden within the Village.


Q: Can I sign up online?

A: No, but you can fill in the paperwork in advance to speed up the process. Click here.


Q: Can my kids ride their bikes while I am in the storage village?

A: No. There is poor visibility at the corners of the buildings. No recreational vehicles may be ridden within the Village.


Q: Do you have a master key if I lose my keys?

A: We do not have a master key. If you lose all of your keys, we must drill out your lock and replace it. The charge for this is $50.00.


Q: Do you send bills when the rent is due?

A: Only if you elect to pay for a bill. We charge $2.00 to send a bill each month.


Q: Don't you want the lock back when I no longer rent a unit?

A: No. The lock that you are given when you sign up is new. We do not reuse locks as a security precaution.


Q: How can I protect my furniture and mattresses from dust and dampness?

A: Cover furniture and mattresses loosely with cloths or special bags made for this purpose. Using plastic to cover furniture or mattresses may cause condensation; mildew may follow.

Q: Is there a light inside my unit?

A:

  • Climate-controlled units do have lights that turn on and off automatically when you enter the units.
  • Non-climate controlled units have no electricity for lights. Your car headlights and the lights within the village are the only sources of light.


    Q: What can I store in a unit?

    A:

  • Everything from clothing to vehicles, from furniture to tools.
  • Anything that you are not ready to part with, but don't have room to store at home
  • Equipment that you need from time to time but need to store when it is not in use
  • Seasonal furnishings (swimming pool accessories, snow-blowers, holiday decorations)


    Q: What can't I store in the storage village?

    A: Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, plants, animals, and anything that requires controlled temperatures


    Q: What credit cards do you accept?

    A: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express as well as bank debit cards.


    Q: What if I have to get in after closing hours?

    A: If you contact us during the regular office hours with a request for late access, we will program the computer to allow you to enter after 7:30 pm or before 7 am. We limit late-hour access as a matter of security.


    Q: What is Auto Credit card payments?

    A: If you elect to have your bills paid by automatic credit card billing, our systems will bill your credit card on your anniversary date. This automatic billing means you can be out of town, or even out of the country and your self-storage unit is always paid up, without fear of late fees. You are responsible for keeping your credit card information up to date.


    Q: Why do I need my registration and proof of insurance to park a vehicle at B-EB?

    A: We offer off-street parking by the month; we are only allowed to offer parking to roadworthy vehicles.


    Q: Why do you need a security deposit?

    A: The security deposit pays for cleanup of oil/tar/gas in units, for significant tears in the ceiling liner, and for removal of unwanted belongings that are left in the village.


    Q: Why don't you have a dumpster on site?

    A: It is too expensive. Our rental fees do not include a garbage fee.


    Q: Why would I use an absorbent mat?

    A: To absorb oil that may drip from a vehicle being stored. Oil spills are difficult to clean and result in a charge to the client.
